Mauricio Gruener co-founded GFG Securities, LLC in 2004, a broker-dealer registered with FINRA, providing investment banking services such as debt and equity capital raisings, private placements, M&A, and advisory. GFG Securities has a notable track record of leading and advising transactions.

Prior to his ventures with GFG Securities, Mauricio held the position of Vice President at Credit Suisse First Boston (“CSFB”) in the Private Client Services division, managing assets for high-net-worth individuals. He previously worked at Lehman Brothers Wealth Management Group and HSBC (formerly Republic National Bank of New York) in various roles, including fixed-income trading and private clients group.

Mauricio holds an MBA with a major in Finance from Thunderbird Business School and a degree in Quantitative Economics from the University of California San Diego. He is also a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO).
